How exactly do you salsa dance your way to loss weight without dieting? It's not nearly as hard as you may think! If you've never danced a step in your life, find yourself with two left feet, and no rhythm, and have a severe dance phobia, you are not alone. In fact, dance is a scary topic to many, but it's benefits to your health and fitness are second to none, and the ease at which you can see results, and have fun doing so, make it the perfect way to stay fit and lose weight.
But, exactly, how to salsa dance isn't easy. Exactly how you're going to make it happen, step by step, is a little tricky. But take my word for it, the first step is the hardest. That step is to actually sign up, and show up, at a dance class. That's right, a local dance class. Why salsa dancing? Because it's the easiest and most addictive and fun of all the social style dances. Once you show up, at that very first dance class, the rest is comparatively easy. That first step is by far the hardest, and by far the most difficult.
The dance itself is not that difficult to learn the basics of. It's likely you'll be dancing in your very first class! The movement and the cardio are excellent for health and fitness, and the fact that it's so fun, means the hours doing it will simply melt away. This isn't running on a treadmill, or going to a gym. This is a fun and social activity that literally makes hours feel like minutes. Once you have a few classes under your belt, you'll be amazed at the workout you get, and the hours you spend doing it, which lead to amazing changes in weight and cardo, as well as incredible changes in dexterity, posture, and yes, even charisma!
Learning how to salsa dance is easy, doing it well, is very, very hard, especially for the leaders (typically the men). While its the that the dance is difficult to master, this shouldn't concern you too much. It's the process that will get you the greatest benefits to health and fitness. That's an entirely different thing altogether! What if there's no classes near you, or there's not enough days worth of classes or clubs to get your desired fitness results? That's when DVDs and Videos come in!
Regardless of how many days a week you socially dance, you should be looking at dance videos and dance dvds to supplement your learning (and your workouts). In addition to the benefit of doing this on your own home, learning how to salsa dance at home allows you to proceed at your own pace, and control the experience a little more than when out at the clubs or classes.
One things is for certain! Once you try this, and take that first step towards salsa dancing, your fitness and health will improve greatly. It's a difficult first step, but I urge you to take it. Learn to salsa dance, and get healthy!
